Pact Group named one of Australia’s Most Innovative Companies by BRW
Pact was the only packaging company to feature, which is a great achievement in itself.
The Awards measure “change that adds value” within organisations. Pact’s nomination was for its internal Reward and Recognition; Applause.
Applause is designed to promote work place integration, employee engagement and foster a culture of innovation. The 2012 winner was Steve Long who invented “Twinlock™”, a microwaveable steamer made from interlocking two thermoformed trays. Twinlock™ is now patented technology for Pact.
The awards are facilitated by Inventium, a leading innovation consultancy. Pact submitted two innovations that were closely analyzed and judged by a group of professionals from various corporate backgrounds.
Entrants had to undertake a series of assessments, which involved being interviewed by the judges, providing an overview of the process undertaken and demonstrating how the innovation integrated into the organisation’s strategy and structure.
We’re proud of Steve’s achievement and we feel extremely honoured to have employees that are dedicated in developing continued innovation of our brand.
